    • Charging and EV costs very less compared to fuel vehicles.
  • Can Charge at home
    • EVs can be charged at home by installing charging device provided by the company or third party or can be charged in DC port.
  • Comfortable and easy to ride and drive
    • EVs do not have gear system and it is easy to drive or ride.

    • Motors used are noiseless
  • No need for fuel
    • As EVs are charged with electricity, there is no need of fuel and it can save lot of money.
  • Fast charging is available
    • Now, many charging stations are coming up with fast charging option so EVs can be charged faster and there would not be long waiting time.

Disadvantages (Cons) of EVs

    • The cost of EVs are high because the battery packs of EVs are costly. But there are warranty for battery's (warranty period differs for each EV=3-8 years).
  • Charging of EV may take a long time (But now fast charging options are available)
    • Many EVs do not have fast charging option but now a days there are charging stations which provide fast charging option.
  • Charging stations are limited to metro cities for now
    • Charging stations are less in outskirts of metro cities which may be difficult for EV users to travel.
